Hello all,
For my final project in my design class, I will be doing a summary of what I have learned over the past 8 weeks. I will be designing a brochure that aims to recruit people to take this class. I chose to design my brochure in Canva since I am pretty comfortable with it but would also like more time to work with it and learn more about it.
Before I begin, I am going to look through my past projects to collect pictures for the brochure. I will also need to design a logo for the class to be featured on the brochure and think about what aspects of the class I want to highlight. I have decided to go with traditional OU colors- crimson and cream.
To complete the project, I am going to look through all my assignments from the semester and reflect on what has been the most valuable to me. I have done so much that I never thought I'd know how to do, so I want to highlight the things I learned and what I've been able to do with them. I also want to highlight how much easier it was to learn that I thought it would be, especially with some of the software like InDesign and Photoshop. It definitely looks a lot of energy and patience, but it wasn't as overwhelming as I assumed it would be. We received great instructions and guidance to help navigate these systems.
For further research, I am going to look back at the Welcome Wall and get some insight on other students' perspectives and opinions on the course. I will also be looking for feelings or questions they had before diving into the course. By looking at this, I will be able to better address some of the questions and concerns other students may have when deciding whether or not to enroll in this course.
